What is the Referral Program
The FatCow Referral Program involves the following steps:
- Tell your friends and associates about FatCow Web hosting and encourage them to sign up for a new plan at www.fatcow.com.
- Instruct people to enter your username or domain name in the Who referred your field on the online registration form.
Tell them to provide your username or domain name to FatCow if they register by phone.NOTE: Credit will only be issued to your account if your username or domain name is entered during the signup process or communicated to FatCow at the time of sale. - After your friend's plan has been in good standing for 30 days, FatCow will add a credit of $35 to your plan.
- The next time you make a purchase, or your plan renews, FatCow will automatically apply this credit to the amount due.
- Your purchases, for which this credit may be applied, include domain name registrations and renewals, product upgrades, setup fees, and extra bandwidth or disk space.
Details
- You don't need to register or sign up to participate. Just start spreading the word!
- You can earn an unlimited amount of credits. The program does not set any limits on the number of credits you can receive or the number of people you can refer.
- A person can refer you repeatedly when signing up for multiple plans, and you'll get credit for each referral.
- You can refer yourself and receive credit on an existing plan for any additional plans you sign up for yourself.
- Credits do not expire. As long as your plan remains in good standing, your credit will always be automatically applied to future purchases or renewals.
How referral credits are applied to your hosting account
For each referral, you receive a $35 credit to your hosting account after your referral has been a customer in good standing for 30 days. This credit is automatically applied to purchases you make after the credit is received.
- FatCow cannot apply your referral credits to past purchases or renewals. All credits to your account will be applied only to future purchases and renewals.
- FatCow does not issue checks for credits earned through the FatCow Referral Program. Referral credits have no cash value and are non-refundable.
- Your FatCow referral credit will not expire as long as you remain in good standing with FatCow.
Receive referral credits for self-referral
You can receive a referral credit on an existing hosting account for any additional hosting accounts you obtain for yourself.
Remember! Credit will only be issued to your account if your name, domain name, or username is entered during the signup process or communicated to FatCow at the time of sale.
Receive multiple credits for the same person
You can receive additional referral credits for a person who references you while signing up for multiple hosting accounts. The person you are referring to must enter or mention your name or domain name during the signup process for each of the new hosting accounts.
