Discontinue Hosted Exchange on vDeck

We’re always looking for ways to improve, and sometimes that means discontinuing certain products and services. By January of 2024, we will be discontinuing the following products:

  • Exchange - ActiveSync (add-on)
  • Exchange - Blackberry
  • Exchange Basic
  • Exchange Plus
  • Exchange Premium
  • Exchange Super

After January 2024, you will no longer have access to the products listed above. If you would like to continue using your email, we advise you to find another Email Service Provider that offers Hosted Exchange services. You can find information on how to export your email in Outlook below. You can also pay a Professional Service Fee to transfer your email to a Google Workspace Plan (note that the Calendar/Contacts do not get transferred).

How to Export Email from Outlook

Microsoft Outlook 2013: Exporting Calendar, Contacts, and Mail folders to a .PST File

To create a .pst file of your Mailbox and all of its folders:

  1. In your Outlook app, go to File, then click Open. Afterwards, select Import.
  2. Select Export to a File and choose Next
  3. Select Outlook Data File (.pst); click next.
  4. Highlight Mailbox-Your Name to export the entire contents of your mailbox. If you want to backup only a selected subfolder, such as your Calendar, highlight only the Calendar folder.
  5. Check Include Subfolders if you also want to back up subfolders. Do not check "Include Subfolders" if no subfolders are required for the backup.
  6. Click Next
  7. In the Save Exported File as field, use the Browse button to select the location and file name of this .pst file. (It is recommended to save the file to a location familiar to you.)
  8. Select Replace Duplicates with Items Exported
  9. Click Finish. Then click OK on the next screen. (You do not have to enter a password.) All data will now be exported to the .PST file. You can save this file as a backup or use it to import it into a new Outlook profile.
